英文摘要: As the first private listed catering corporation in China A-share market, Xiangeqing flourished thanks to the high-end catering business, but suffering from the same reason due to a series of policies restricting waste and extravagance. Then, Xiangeqing decided to help itself out and began strategy changes to heated fields, environmental industry, media and big data one after another, which made it shinning in the capital market for a period. However, a lacking of specialized team and cash flow led the strategy change a failure. And this strategy change was regarded as a plot to raise the share price. In this case, we describe the decisions Xiangeqing made in its development process and the ups and downs during the period of strategy changes. In the way, we try to figure out how to choose a field when performing a diversification strategy, and how to seize the opportunities and beat the challenges.
