英文摘要: As a technology company, Xiaomi founded for a short time and its technical strength and the patent reserves are relatively weak, although Xiaomi did a good job in marketing which attracted many Mi-fans, the disadvantages of Xiaomi in patent began to expose with smartphone market becoming relatively saturated and competitors continuing to rise. Through active independent patent applications of R&D and a large number of patent purchases, Xiaomi strives to win back the industry discourse power through patent strategy and seek its own strategic transformation. Based on Xiaomi’s patent management, this case analyses antecedents and consequences of Xiaomi’s Strategy Transition and give recommendations of strategy transition to China’s technology enterprises.
