英文摘要: In recent years, there has been an IP boom in the cultural and entertainment industry. There are endlessly films, dramas, games and other derivative works that have been adapted from network literature. Wu Wenhui, the co-CEO of the China Literature Limited, is known as the Godfather of Network Literature, and is the founder of network literature’s business model, operating system, and copyright extension mechanism. This case describes Wu Wenhui’s entrepreneurial journey from the founder of Starting Point Chinese Net in 2002 to the helm of China Literature Limited. By recreating the difficulties and coping strategies he faced at each stage, this case can provide reference for making strategic decisions and designing industrial chain of related companies in the field of culture and entertainment.
