英文摘要: This case depicts some phenomena relevant to cultural conflicts in the merger and acquisition (M&A) process between Company H and Company T. The employees from the two companies experienced different working approaches and decision-making processes. Especially, the employees from Company T felt very hard to accommodate themselves to the privileged organizational culture of Company A. Accompanied with the disputes, layoffs and closures in the process of HR adjustment, employees from Company T left the new company constantly, which led to a huge shock to the retained employees. This case is applicable to discuss the problems relevant to conflicts and fusions in the process of merger and acquisition between two companies with biggish cultural differences.
