英文摘要: This case describes the troubles of Henry, the new director of operations of Changda. Before 2015, Supply chain management in Changda (China) was responsible by three functional departments: purchasing department, logistics department and customer service department. The three department managers report directly to the general manager. Considering that in other countries, one manager is in charge of these three departments, in order to facilitate work connection, the general manager decided to merge the three functional departments in China in 2015, and hired a professional manager Henry from other companies at a high salary, who is responsible for the work of the three departments. Henry is a new comer. Facing the old three senior department managers, he is at a loss about what to do due to the continuous conflicts.
